The Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team at PDSA enable the needs of over 2,000 colleagues and 3,000 volunteers across 160 UK hospitals, shops, and hundreds of homes across the country, supporting our Veterinary experts to treat almost half a million pets each year. And we are going to do more!

In 2022, we created our new DDaT directorate with a new strategy to transform the organisation. We created our first Digital team, Business Partnering and Service teams, expanded our technical teams, and started to consolidate subject matter expertise.

In 2023, we have started our multi-million-pound transformation programme, and this year will be completely replacing our network and migrating our on-premise architecture to 100% cloud.

We are investing significantly in our internal teams to be able to deliver and support this transformation.

This role is an opportunity to join us on this journey as one of our Systems administrators for our business critical applications. You will report to Applications System manager who reports to the Director for Digital, Data and Technology.

To succeed, you will have will have strong administrative and communication skills and ability to use initiative to take decisions, delivering a high level of service at all times to partners, staff and our volunteers. You will also have proven success of working with subject matter experts and users to translate business requirements into technical outputs. In addition to being able to demonstrate your experience of configuring cloud solutions to meet defined user needs.
